Apple has now confirmed that it’s highly anticipated iPad tablet will be coming to UK shores in late March.
The Apple UK site has the Wi-Fi models due for release in late March, while you’ll have to wait until April for the 3G enabled devices. It is presumed that these models will ship unlocked just like they will over the pond in the US, but network operators are yet to be confirmed. Rumours are rife that both O2 and Orange have placed a large number of SIM cards that will be useable only on the iPad device as it uses micro SIM cards.
Likewise an announcement on pricing and availability of the iBooks app from day one in the UK has yet to be made, but the confirmation for both is surely not that far away.

Apple’s a company I’ve enjoyed for some time, they produce gadgets that is aesthetically beautiful while working like a each and every time. I can’t say that about alot of companies, it’s usually one or the other. Tech companies don’t usually take aesthetics seriously like Apple. With me stating that I’ve got to say that I’m very excited about the new Tablet. One thing I question though, is it too soon? I think that this may be ahead of its time. What do you think?
